Presentation Templates & Guidelines
Presentation Guidelines
– Presentation decks should be prepared in PowerPoint format using a 16:9 aspect ratio.
– All video content must be embedded directly in your PowerPoint file. External links to third-party platforms, such as YouTube, will not work.
– To ensure participants can easily follow your presentation, titles should be in 40 pt font and body text no less than 18 pt font. Please keep written text to a minimum.
– The final version must be submitted in .pptx format to ensure proper display in the session rooms.
– Please ensure there are no more than 5 bullet points per slide in the notes. This is to maintain visibility on the comfort monitors. If a slide requires more than 5 points, you can simply duplicate the content slide and continue the notes on the next one to keep everything clear and easy to read from stage.
– Caution against using very light-coloured fonts on a white background, as that can make text harder to read. For slides with a lot of data, it may be helpful to break them into multiple slides to maintain clarity.
-Presentations are allocated 15 minutes including Q&A. Please aim for 11 or 12 minutes of talk to allow for a short Q&A period.
For flash presentations, please use the same template as for oral presentations, with no more than three slides.
Flash-talks are allocated 5 minutes of presentation time. No Q&A time will be allowed after your talk. The session chair will be instructed to cut off presenters at the end of their allocated time.
Instructions for the on-site submission of your presentation will be added to this page as we get closer to the congress.
